Position Available: 2 Positions (Male Only)

Hourly wage: $6.00 per hour + Tips

Wage comments: $6.00 + tips (if bus/dish) or $12.00+ per regular hour

Overtime Detail: Overtime only after 40 hours per week

Average of hours: 32+ average hours for the whole program (not guaranteed) per week (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance). Some students work lot of hours during the busy weeks (July-August), which depends on student’s performance and work ethic

Meals details: Yes (during work shift)

Job description:

• Dishwasher/Busser/Prep Cook: Responsible for washing dishes, clean tables, stocking silverware and keeping the whole kitchen and restaurant clean. Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles. Clean, stock, and restock workstations. Assists wait staff. Be prepared to work in a high pace environment and hot environment. Stand and walk for long periods of time
• Baker/Prep Cook: Good English. Must be able to read English and understand specific instructions. Baking buns, pies, preparing donuts, pastries, baking bread. Need to be ready to perform Dishwasher/Busser jobs as well. Be prepared to work in a high pace environment and hot environment. Stand and walk for long periods of time
• Males only for housing purpose (to arrive together)

English Required skills: Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+, C)

Start Date: May 15th – May 28^th,2022

End Date:  September 5th – September 7^th,2022

Housing assisted by:  Employer

COST OF HOUSING: $75.00 per student per week, plus $200 flat fee for Wi-Fi, laundry, and rides to the Social Security office. 1-2 weeks up front housing payment required

HOUSING COLLECTION: Direct Pay

HOUSING DEPOSIT: Yes. $350. $150 refundable. $200 Wi-Fi, laundry, and rides to Social Security office.

Deposit Due Date: Upon arrival

HOUSING DEPOSIT REFUND:  Yes. Deposit is refunded to you upon satisfactory completion of Job Offer/Housing Policy/Payment terms. Deposit is returned after the property

is inspected for cleanliness. Inspection is done after the last person leaves. Janus International Hospitality Student Exchange US State Department Designated J-1 Sponsor Agency You will lose your deposit if you leave the housing prematurely or in unacceptable condition.
